David Sánchez Juliao
David Sánchez Juliao (November 24, 1945 – February 9, 2011) was a Colombian author, journalist, storyteller and diplomat. Sánchez Juliao was born in Lorica. He was the Colombian ambassador to India during the César Gaviria administration and ambassador to Egypt during the Ernesto Samper administration. Among his most important works are: ''El pachanga'', ''El flecha'', ''El flecha II el retorno'' (2006), ''Abraham al humor'', ''Fosforito'', ''Historias de Racamandaca'' y ''Dulce Veneno Moreno''. David Sánchez Camacho (born 20 October 1963) is a Mexican politician from Mexico City. A member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) Sánchez serves as deputy in the Mexican Chamber of Deputies to which he was elected in 2006. David Sánchez Heredia (born December 25, 1966) is a Bolivian politician with the Movement toward Socialism party, former university instructor and docent, and former business manager. He serves as one of four Senators from Chuquisaca Department, a post he was elected to in December 2009. Sánchez holds a bachelor's degree in economy and finance; has served as Docent in the Higher University of San Simón in Cochabamba and the University of Saint Francis Xavier in Sucre, and as Vice-Rector of the Andean University; and was a manager in several telecommunication firms. David Sanchez (activist)
David Sanchez (born June 17, 1947) is an American civil rights activist, and founding member of the Brown Berets. In the 1960s and 70s he was heavily involved in the Chicano civil rights and political movements. Background An accomplished student in high school, in 1966 Sanchez chaired Mayor Sam Yorty's youth council. However personal experiences with police brutality from the LAPD radicalized his politics and world view. With other high school students, Sanchez helped found the Young Chicanos for Community Action. With his leadership, the Young Chicanos For Community Action eventually became the Brown Berets. The Brown Berets advocated for better schools and the fair treatment of Mexican-Americans in Los Angeles. The organization also worked on farmworkers' rights, opposition to the Vietnam War, and organizing against police brutality.
