David Carter (basketball)
David Allen Carter (born March 12, 1967) is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at Loyola Marymount University. From 1999 to 2009, Carter was an assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, under Trent Johnson from 1999 to 2004 and Mark Fox from 2004 to 2009, including as associate head coach beginning in 2005. On April 3, 2009, Carter became head coach after Fox left to become head coach at Georgia. Carter was fired by the University of Nevada, Reno in March 2015. In June, Carter re-joined Saint Mary's as assistant coach, this time under Randy Bennett. Carter was an assistant at Saint Mary's from 1997 to 1999 under Dave Bollwinkel. On June 7, 2017, Carter was once again hired by Fox as an assistant coach, this time for Georgia, replacing former assistant Yasir Rosemond. McKeon Pavilion
University Credit Union Pavilion (formerly McKeon Pavilion) is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose arena at Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California. Home men's and women's basketball and volleyball games are held in the gymnasium, the team nickname being the Gaels. Many athletic camps for youths also use the gym, primarily in the summer, and other on-campus events, such as the Baccalaureate mass, are also held there. Banners commemorating successful seasons, championships and post-season appearances for all Saint Mary's sports hang on the back wall. At well-attended games, the court-level bleachers opposite the benches are reserved entirely for students. Common criticism of the gym, including by students, is its age and size. The 2009–10 Nevada Wolf Pack men's basketball team represented the University of Nevada in the 2009–10 college basketball season. This was head coach David Carter's first season as head coach after being a Wolf Pack assistant coach for the previous ten years. Stan Johnson (born September 16, 1979) is a Liberian-born basketball coach and former player who is the current head coach of the Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball team. Playing career Johnson played three seasons at Southern Utah where he was a team captain and part of the Thunderbirds' 2001 NCAA tournament squad which was narrowly defeated 68–65 by third-seeded Boston College in the program's only NCAA Tournament appearance. Thomas Aaron Crean (born March 25, 1966) is an American college basketball coach. Most recently, he was the head coach for the University of Georgia men's basketball team. Crean was previously the head coach of Indiana University. Prior to that, he served as head coach at Marquette University (1999–2008), where his team reached the 2003 NCAA Final Four.
