The Das Almas River () is a river of São Paulo state in southeastern Brazil. It is a tributary of the Paranapanema River. The river rises in the Serra de Paranapiacaba near the Intervales State Park, and in its upper reaches flows through the Xitué Ecological Station, created in 1987. Ribeirão Grande
Ribeirão Grande is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 7,679 (2020 est.) in an area of 333 km2. The elevation is 690 m. The municipality contains part of the Serra do Mar Environmental Protection Area, created in 1984. It contains the Xitué Ecological Station, created in 1987. It contains part of the Intervales State Park, created in 1995, including the park's headquarters. Media In telecommunications, the city was served by Telecomunicações de São Paulo. In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted the Vivo brand in 2012. The Xitué Ecological Station () is an ecological station in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It protects a mountainous area of Atlantic Forest. Location The Xitué Ecological Station (ESEC) is in the Serra de Paranapiacaba in the municipality of Ribeirão Grande in the southeast São Paulo state. It has an area of about .
