Darragh McCarthy
Darragh McCarthy (born August 2005) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with Toomevara and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. Early life Born and raised in Toomevara, County Tipperary, McCarthy played hurling at all levels as a student at St Joseph's CBS in Nenagh. He made his Harty Cup debut during the 2021–22 running of the competition. McCarthy spent three seasons as the team's free-taker before captaining St Joseph's CBS to their maiden Harty Cup title after a one-point win over Ardscoil Rís in 2024. He later earned a scholarship to the University of Limerick and won a Freshers 1 League title in 2024. Club career At club level, McCarthy first played for Toomevara at juvenile and underage levels. He won consecutive North Tipperary U19AHC titles in 2023 and 2024. The 2025 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship (SHC) is due to be the 138th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 1887. Seán O'Donoghue
Seán O'Donoghue (born 25 January 1996) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Inniscarra, divisional side Muskerry and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career College O'Donoghue first came to prominence as a dual player with Coláiste Choilm in Ballincollig. Having played both codes at every grade, he was a centre-forward on the college's senior Gaelic football team. On 12 April 2014, he scored two points as Coláiste Choilm defeated Scoil Aodháin by 1–11 to 1–10 to take the All-Ireland title in the second tier Drummond Cup. The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into five divisions, with seven teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The GAA Hurling Under-20 All-Ireland Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the oneills.com GAA Hurling Under-20 All-Ireland Championship) is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in Ireland. The championship was contested as the All-Ireland Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. The 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the seventh staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 62nd staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, senior grades.
