The 15559 / 15560 Darbhanga–Ahmedabad Antyodaya Express is a fully unreserved Express train of the Indian Railways for connecting in Bihar and in Gujarat. It is currently being operated with 15559/15560 train numbers on once in week. This train was started as Jan Sadharan Express on 04 Feb 2015 with the rake zone of Western Railway, It has become popular for direct connectivity to East and West part of India with lower rates. Till 4 years it gave service. Later, after approval for a more comfortable journey from Ministry of Railways of India, it was converted into Antyodaya Express and also the Rake zone was also transferred to East Central Railway zone. Antyodaya Express are a series of Economic Unreserved Superfast Express trains operated by Indian Railways. The trains were proposed to be overnight unreserved trains in the 2016 Railway budget of India. Antyodaya refers to the Rise of dusk in Sanskrit ( Anthi - Dusk, udhaya - Rise) which symbolises its Overnight Services. The coaches are designed by Indian Railways with features such as bio-toilets and dedicated power sockets. The Indian locomotive class WAP-4 is a class of 25 kV AC electric locomotives that was developed in 1993 by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works for Indian Railways. The model name stands for broad gauge (W), AC Current (A), Passenger traffic (P) locomotive, 4th generation (4). They entered service in late 1994. A total of 778 WAP-4 were built at CLW between 1993 and 2015, which made them the most numerous class of mainline electric passenger locomotive until the WAP-7.
