Daping Township () is a rural Townships of the People's Republic of China, township in Shaoshan, Shaoshan City, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, China. It borders Shaoshan Township to the east, Shatian, Xiangxiang, Shatian Township and Longdong, Xiangxiang, Longdong Township to the south, Baitian, Xiangxiang, Baitian Town to the west, and Jinshi, Xiangxiang, Jinshi Township and Longtan, Xiangxiang, Longtan Township to the north. it had a population of 14,300 and an area of .
