Danny Altmann
Danny Altmann is a British immunologist, and Professor of Immunology at Imperial College London. Altmann earned a bachelor's degree from the University of London in 1980, and a PhD from the University of Bristol in 1983 on T cell immunity to herpesviruses. Altmann is the son of John Altmann, who arrived as a refugee from the Holocaust on the Kindertransport, and Marlene Altmann, who arrived after liberation from Auschwitz. Through her, he is in turn the great-grandson of German philanthropist . Altmann runs a research lab at Imperial College's Hammersmith Hospital site, "focusing on HLA genes, T cells and NK cells in autoimmunity, cancer and infectious disease." He has been based there since 1994. Between 2011 and 2013 he was also Head of Pathogens, Immunity and Population Health at the Wellcome Trust. Daniel Paul Coulombe (born October 26, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland Athletics, and Baltimore Orioles. Amateur career Coulombe attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a senior he was 9–0 with a 0.75 earned run average (ERA) and 138 strikeouts. He previously was the head football coach at the University of New Mexico from 2020 to 2023. Danny Franco (; born 5 December 1973) is an Israeli basketball coach. Franco began his coaching path as coach for Hapoel Tel Aviv's youth teams, and during that time he also coached the Israeli youth national team. Among the many teams Franco has coached are: Ironi Ramat Gan, Hapoel Afula, Hapoel Gilboa Galil (as Hapoel Galil Elyon), Hapoel Holon with whom he won the Israeli State Cup in 2009, Barak Netanya, and Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Jerusalem, Ironi Nahariya and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Daniel Richard Duffy (born December 21, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Piratas de Campeche of the Mexican League. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals.
