Danny Green (basketball)
Daniel Richard Green Jr. (born June 22, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. In his National Basketball Association, NBA career, Green played for six teams. As of 2020, Green is one of just four players in history to have won NBA championships with three different teams; he won titles with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014 NBA Finals, 2014, the Toronto Raptors in 2019 NBA Finals, 2019, and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 NBA Finals, 2020. Green spent his college basketball career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina (UNC) from 2005 to 2009. He played in more games (145) and had more wins (123) than any North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball, Tar Heel before him. The All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) men's basketball team is an annual Atlantic Coast Conference honor bestowed on the best players in the conference following every college basketball season. The selections started in the 1953–54 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season, ACC inaugural season in 1953–54. The 2009 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 65 teams playing in a single-elimination tournament that determined the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's basketball national champion for the 2008–09 season. The NBA All-Defensive Team is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) honor given since the 1968–69 NBA season to the best defensive players during the regular season. The All-Defensive Team is generally composed of ten players in two five-man lineups, a first and a second team. Voting is conducted by a panel of 123 writers and broadcasters. Prior to the 2013–14 NBA season, voting was performed by the NBA head coaches, who were restricted from voting for players on their own team.
