Daniëlle Jansen
Daniëlle Jansen (born 29 September 1970) is a Dutch politician from the New Social Contract who has been minister for Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, health, welfare and sport since 19 June 2025. She was elected to the Dutch Parliament in the 2023 Dutch general election where she served as her party's spokesperson for curative care, curative and preventive healthcare. She succeded Eddy van Hijum as outgoing Minister for Health, Welfare and Sport after the Party for Freedom, PVV recalled all their Ministers from the cabinet Schoof. Bills in parliament Together with Julian Bushoff (GL/PvdA), she presented a bill in May 2024 that would allow the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) to investigate and block takeovers of medical providers with a revenue of less than €30 million. For the 22 November 2023 Dutch general election, 26 electoral lists were successfully submitted, totalling 1,126 candidates. The 150 seats were awarded to party lists, with candidates over the preference threshold awarded a seat first if available and the other seats awarded based on position on the list. The preference threshold for this election was 17,388 votes (25% of the electoral threshold). One candidate would have not been elected based on position on the list, but received enough preference votes: Daniëlle Hirsch ( GroenLinks-PvdA). Replacements are also awarded based on position on the list. Marie-Fleur Agema (; born 16 September 1976) is a Dutch former spatial designer and politician affiliated with the Party for Freedom (PVV). Schoof Cabinet
The Schoof cabinet is the current demissionary cabinet of the Netherlands, sworn in on 2 July 2024. Led by independent politician and civil servant Dick Schoof as prime minister of the Netherlands, the cabinet was formed after the 2023 Dutch general election by the Party for Freedom (PVV), the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), New Social Contract (NSC), and the Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB). It is the first time that the PVV, NSC and BBB have had seats in government. The cabinet fell after the PVV left the coalition and cabinet on 3 June 2025 due to disagreements on asylum policy.
