The Daniels Range () is a principal mountain range of the Usarp Mountains, about 80 km (50 mi) long and 16 km (10 mi) wide, bounded to the north by Harlin Glacier and to the south by Gressitt Glacier. Exploration and name The range was mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and United States Navy air photographs in 1960–63. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Ambassador Paul Clement Daniels (1903–86), a leading American figure in the formulation of the Antarctic Treaty in 1959. Daniels School
The Daniels School, in Milliken in Weld County, Colorado, was built in 1911. It is a two-room schoolhouse, with a partition that allowed separation of grades 1–4 vs. grades 5–8, which operated from 1911 to 1959. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It was built on a plot of land donated to the school district by James Daniels in 1879. A wood-frame schoolhouse was built first; it was sold and moved off the property to enable replacement by the present brick building in 1911. James Daniels served as director of the school for many years. The school was named, however, for his brother, Henry Daniels, who was a pioneer in the Big Thompson Valley area before Johnstown and Milliken existed. Mock Orange is an American indie rock band from Evansville, Indiana, United States. They debuted in 1998 during a growing emo and punk musical climate. Overview The first album released by Mock Orange was “Nines & Sixes” in 1998. In 2000, the band followed up with “The Record Play.” Produced by Mark Trombino (Pinback, Jimmy Eat World). In 2002, just after the release of the "First EP", the band's label, Dead Droid Records, was sued by George Lucas for copyright infringement. The suit resulted in the collapse of the label.
