Daniel Vallverdú
Daniel Vallverdú (born March 17, 1986), also known as Dani Vallverdú, is a Venezuelan tennis coach and a former professional player. Vallverdu is the tournament director of the Washington Mubadala Citi DC Open, a joint ATP 500, ATP and WTA 500 tournaments, WTA tournament. Vallverdu serves as a strategic adviser to the Saudi Tennis Federation and is the co-tournament director of the Next Generation ATP Finals in Jeddah. He was also the event director for the 2024 WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is currently co-coaching Grigor Dimitrov. Vallverdu is also the cofounder of AD Global Sports, a company promoting the growth of sports in the UK and around the world. In November 2023, AD Global Sports, together with Andy Murray acquired the Padel Team AD/vantage part of the Hexagon Cup which took place in Madrid in February 2024. Magnus Norman
Magnus Norman (born 30 May 1976) is a Swedish former professional tennis player and current coach. He was ranked world No. 2 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), in June 2000. Norman won twelve ATP Tour singles titles, including a Masters event at the 2000 Rome Masters, and was runner-up at a major at the 2000 French Open. Since retiring from the sport in 2004, Norman has coached Thomas Johansson, Robin Söderling, and Stan Wawrinka. He owns the Good to Great Tennis Academy. Among its students are Wawrinka, Gaël Monfils, and Grigor Dimitrov. Norman also plays bandy, a sport he played in his youth before deciding to concentrate on tennis. Sven Groeneveld
Sven Groeneveld (born 22 July 1965) is a Dutch tennis coach and a former professional player. Career He became a professional tennis player at the age of 19, but couldn’t achieve much success. His highest singles ranking was 826 and highest doubles ranking was 837 in 1986. In 1989 he ended his tennis career, and became a coach. He has coached a wide variety of players, including Monica Seles, Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, Mary Pierce, Ana Ivanovic, Caroline Wozniacki, Michael Stich, Greg Rusedski, Nicolas Kiefer, Tommy Haas, Maria Sharapova and Mario Ančić, among others. Darren Cahill (born 2 October 1965) is an Australian tennis coach and former professional tennis player. In addition, Cahill is a tennis analyst for the Grand Slam events on the US sports network ESPN and a coach with the Adidas Player Development Program and at ProTennisCoach.com. Early life and education Cahill is the son of Australian rules football player and coach John Cahill. After high school he attended the Australian Institute of Sport on a scholarship. The 2008 Artois Championships (also known traditionally as the ''Queen's Club Championships'') was a tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 106th edition of the Artois Championships, and was part of the International Series of the 2008 ATP Tour. ATP Finals
The ATP Finals is the season-ending championship of the ATP Tour. It is the most significant tennis event in the men's annual calendar after the four majors, as it features the top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams based on their results throughout the season. The eighth spot is reserved, if needed, for a player or team who won a major in the current year and is ranked from ninth to twentieth. The tournament uses a unique format not seen in other ATP Tour events, where the singles players and doubles teams are separated into two groups of four, within which they each play three round-robin matches. After the round-robin stage, the top two performers from each group play in knock-out semifinals and a final to determine the champion(s). The 2017 Western & Southern Open was a men's and women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts from August 14–20, 2017.
