Daniel Sousa (football Manager)
Pedro Daniel da Cunha Pereira de Sousa (born 3 October 1984) is a Portuguese football manager. For over a decade, he was assistant manager to André Villas-Boas. He started managing in the Primeira Liga in 2022, with Gil Vicente, Arouca, Braga and Vitória Guimarães. Coaching career Assistant Sousa first met the Portuguese coach André Villas-Boas when the former was a student at the University of Porto, in the Faculty of Sports. He interviewed Villas-Boas about strategies for attacking football as part of his final-year thesis, and was later recommended to the young manager by professor of football José Guilherme, who was Villas-Boas' assistant at Académica. Barcelos, Portugal
Barcelos () is a city and a municipality in Braga District in the Minho Province, in the north of Portugal. The population in 2011 was 120,391, in an area of 378.90 km2. With 60 parishes, it is the municipality with the highest number of parishes in the country. Rui Manuel Gomes Borges (born 7 July 1981) is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Primeira Liga club Sporting CP, with whom he won the Portuguese Primeira Liga and Taca de Portugal with in 2025. Playing career A youth graduate of hometown club Mirandela, Borges made his senior debut with Bragança during the 2000–01 Segunda Divisão B. Minho Province
Minho () was a former province in Portugal, established in 1936 and dissolved in 1976. It consisted of 23 municipalities, with its capital in the city of Braga. SIC Notícias () is the cable news channel of the Portuguese television network SIC (''Sociedade Independente de Comunicação'') and the second thematic channel of the station. The Taça de Portugal (; ) is an annual association football competition and the premier knockout tournament in Portuguese football. For sponsorship reasons, it has been known as Taça de Portugal Generali Tranquilidade since the 2024–25 season. Organised by the Portuguese Football Federation since it was first held in 1938, the competition is open to professional and amateur clubs from the top-four league divisions. Matches are played from August–September to May–June, and the final is traditionally held at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, near Lisbon. Daniel António Lopes Ramos (born 25 December 1970) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a midfielder, currently manager of Chinese Super League club Henan. After a playing career spent mostly at the lower levels, he embarked on a managerial career of over two decades. He led six clubs in the second tier, and seven in the Primeira Liga. The Estádio do Dragão (; ') is an all-seater football stadium in Porto, Portugal, and the home ground of FC Porto since 2003. It has a seating capacity of 50,033, making it the third-largest football stadium in Portugal.
