Daniel Ruiz Bazán
Daniel Ruiz-Bazán Justa (born 28 June 1951), commonly known as Dani, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker. During his career, he played almost exclusively for Athletic Bilbao, scoring 199 competitive goals in more than one decade with the first team. Club career Born in Sopuerta, Biscay, Dani played youth football with various clubs in the Basque Country. He signed for Athletic Bilbao in 1971 at the age of 20, spending one season with the reserve side in the Tercera División. After two years on loan at neighbouring Barakaldo CF of Segunda División, Dani returned to his ''alma mater'', scoring in double digits in nine of the following ten years. His first La Liga match occurred on 29 September 1974 in a 3–0 away loss against Valencia CF and, in the 1976–77 season, as the ''Lions'' reached the final of the UEFA Cup and the Copa del Rey, also finishing third in the league, he totalled 29 goals in 46 official games; in the latter competiti ...

Julio Salinas Fernández (; born 11 September 1962) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played during the 1980s and 1990s. A tall, lanky centre-forward with skills, he was best remembered for his spell at Barcelona – having started his career with Athletic Bilbao – while he was also a prolific goalscorer for club and country. Manuel 'Manu' Sarabia López (born 9 January 1957) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He amassed La Liga totals of 363 games and 101 goals over the course of 14 seasons, mainly with Athletic Bilbao but also with Logroñés. The San Mamés Stadium ( ; also known as ''La Catedral'' , "The Cathedral") was a football stadium in Bilbao, Biscay, Spain. The stadium was the home of Athletic Bilbao, known as ''Los Leones de San Mamés''-''Bilboko lehoiak'' (The Lions of San Mamés). They are known as ''Los Leones'' because their stadium was built near a church called ''San Mamés'' (Saint Mammes). The , commonly known as , or (in English) the Spanish Cup or King's Cup, and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–1936) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–1976), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. 1977 UEFA Cup Final
The 1977 UEFA Cup Final was played on 4 May 1977 and 18 May 1977 between Italian side Juventus and Spanish side Athletic Bilbao. Juventus won 2-2 on away goals. This is the only triumph for an Italian side in an official European tournament without foreign players in its first team squad. The 1976–77 UEFA Cup was the sixth season of the UEFA Cup, the third-tier club football competition organised by UEFA. The final was played over two legs at Stadio Comunale, Turin, Italy, and at San Mamés, Bilbao, Spain. It was won by Juventus of Italy, who defeated Athletic Bilbao of Spain on the away goals rule after a 2–2 aggregate draw to claim their first UEFA Cup title. This was the first major European conquest for Juventus, having previously lost one European Cup final and two Inter-Cities Fairs' Cup finals.
