Critics have argued that Cædmon is the author of the poem, but this theory has been since disproven. ''Daniel'', as it is preserved, is 764 lines long. Daniel Rodríguez (tenor)
Daniel Rodriguez (born May 24, 1964) is an American operatic tenor from New York City. He became known as "The Singing Policeman" in his former work with the New York City Police Department, due to his role as one of the department's designated national anthem singers. In the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks, he received widespread attention with his rendition of " God Bless America", which he sang at memorial events and on television. This led to an offer of formal training from Plácido Domingo. Rodriguez has recorded numerous albums and appeared as lead tenor in several operas. MDO is a Latin American pop/rock band, spun off in 1997 from the Latin American boy band once known as Menudo. The group's first line-up reunited for an international tour in 2015. Band history In the mid-1990s, Edgardo Diaz, Menudo's creator and director, sold the rights for the trademarked name Menudo to a Panamanian company. After the release and promotion of Menudo's album ''Tiempo De Amar'' in 1996, the remaining line-up formed MDO under the direction and production of Diaz at first.
