Daniel Márquez
Daniel Omar Márquez Palacios (born January 18, 1987) is a Mexican former professional footballer. Club career Daniel also played for Reboceros de La Piedad, Morelia Manzanillo. All of these teams are in Primera División A. He played with Fernando Luviano "Cabinnho", one of his best friends. He made his debut against Club Necaxa. Later, he only played 2 games for the rest of Apertura 2007. He began to play in Clausura in 2008. He scored his first goal in the Copa Libertadores against U. San Martín. On December 29, 2010, Daniel Marquez scored his first goal in an International team Guatemala with Club América. Later that night, they won the game 4-1 and received the Copa Insurgentes. InterLiga was an association football competition and the qualification method between eight Mexican clubs to determine two clubs qualified for the Copa Libertadores, it was held from 2004 to 2010. History From 1998 to 2003, the Mexican clubs competed in the Pre-Libertadores tournament as its qualification method, which consisted in two rounds. The first round called Selectivo Pre Pre-Libertadores was played between Mexican clubs, two clubs advanced to the next round called Liguilla Pre-Libertadores against two clubs from Venezuela, the four clubs faced each other to determine the last two spots for the Copa Libertadores. In 2004, Mexico and Venezuela were granted automatic entries to the Copa Libertadores for the first time.
