Daniel López Pinedo (born 16 July 1980 in Barcelona) is a Spanish water polo goalkeeper who competed for the Spain men's national water polo team in two Summer Olympics ( 2012 London and 2016 Rio. He helped Spanish water polo club CN Atlètic-Barceloneta win the LEN Champions League in 2013–14 season. He is 6 ft 3 inches tall. División De Honor De Waterpolo
The Spanish water polo championship has been contested since 1912. The current league format was introduced in 1965. The top division is currently known as the División de Honor and consists of twelve clubs. The current champions (2024–25 season) are CN Atlètic-Barceloneta from Barcelona. Competition Format The División de Honor season takes place between October and May, with every team playing each other home and away for a total of 22 matches. Points are awarded according to the following: *3 points for a win *1 points for a draw The team with the highest number of points at the end of 22 rounds of matches become champions. The European Aquatics Super Cup is an annual water polo match organized by European Aquatics and contested by the reigning champions of the two most important European club competitions, the European Aquatics Champions League and the European Aquatics Euro Cup. The European Aquatics Champions League is the top-tier European professional water polo club competition with teams from up to 18 countries. It is organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation. The competition started in 1963 as European Cup. The men's tournament of water polo at the 2012 Summer Olympics at London, Great Britain, began on 29 July and lasted until 12 August 2012. All games were held at the Water Polo Arena.
