Daniel Isăilă
Daniel Ionuț Isăilă (born 29 June 1972) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player. A former defender, Isăilă played 149 matches in Liga I, scoring seven goals. He played eight times in the UEFA Cup, four games each with Rapid București and FC Brașov. Coaching career He began his coaching career in 2006 at second league club FC Săcele. He then joined the technical staff of Răzvan Lucescu, becoming his assistant at FC Brașov. From July 2010 he was in numerous occasions the head coach of FC Brașov, overseen by technical director Daniel Oprea, Isăilă not having the PRO License coach certificate yet. In November 2011, Isăilă signed a contract for four seasons with Sportul Studențesc. The club relegated under his command. Liga I
Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 Divizia A, 1909–10 campaign, being currently 25th in UEFA's UEFA coefficient#League coefficient, league coefficient ranking list. Christoph Daum
Christoph Paul Daum (24 October 1953 – 24 August 2024) was a German professional Association football, football manager and player. As a manager, he won eight trophies with clubs from Germany, Turkey and Austria. In 1992, he won the Bundesliga championship with VfB Stuttgart. In the Bundesliga, he also led 1. FC Köln to two and Bayer 04 Leverkusen to three second places. He won further national championships with the Turkish clubs Beşiktaş J.K., Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe S.K. (football), Fenerbahçe as well as FK Austria Wien, Austria Wien. In 2000, a drug scandal prevented his appointment as Germany national football team, German national coach. Anghel Iordănescu
Anghel Iordănescu (; born 4 May 1950), is a Romanian former footballer and former manager, who played as a forward. In 2007, Iordănescu retired from football, and the following February, after his predecessor resigned, he became a member of the Romanian Senate, sitting on the Social Democratic Party benches. On 26 December 2011, he became an independent senator, affiliated to the National Union for the Progress of Romania. His son, Edward Iordănescu, is also a former footballer, currently the head coach of the Romania national team. The Romania national football team () represents Romania in men's international football, and is administered by the Romanian Football Federation (), also known as FRF. They are colloquially known as ''Tricolorii'' ("the Tricolours").
