"Dang!" is a song by American rapper Mac Miller featuring American rapper Anderson .Paak. It was released on July 28, 2016, as the lead single from Miller's fourth studio album ''The Divine Feminine'' (2016). Composition Matthew Strauss of Pitchfork (website), ''Pitchfork'' has described the song having an "addictive" funk instrumental that "features horns by Juilliard School, Juilliard students." In an interview with Genius (website), Genius, Mac Miller revealed that Anderson .Paak "wrote the song for people who passed away." Malcolm James McCormick (January 19, 1992 – September 7, 2018), known by the stage name Mac Miller, was an American rapper.
