DanceX
''DanceX'' was a reality television show produced in the UK for BBC One in 2007. It was a live show in which two teams of male and female dancers competed to form a new dance group. Team Bruno won the show on 25 August. Presenter and team leaders The show was hosted by GMTV and former ''The X Factor (UK), Xtra Factor'' presenter Ben Shephard. The two teams were led by Hot Gossip founder Arlene Phillips and fellow ''Strictly Come Dancing'' judge and choreographer Bruno Tonioli. Both Arlene and Bruno had their own assistants, a choreographer and a vocal coach. Arlene was joined by Ashley Wallen, one of Britain's leading choreographers, and expert vocal coach Joshua Alamu. Bruno's assistants were Derek Hough, dancer and choreographer, and CeCe Sammy, vocal coach. The dance teams' performances were judged by the British public using the ubiquitous telephone vote. If I Can't Dance
"If I Can't Dance" is a song by United Kingdom, British recording artist Sophie Ellis-Bextor for her third studio album, ''Trip the Light Fantastic (Sophie Ellis-Bextor album), Trip the Light Fantastic'' (2007). It was written by Ellis-Bextor and Dimitri Tikovoi, while production was handled by Tikovi, with additional production by Brio Taliaferro and Jeremy Wheatley. It is a dance-pop, electropop and disco song and a reference to the famous paraphrase of Emma Goldman: "If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution". The song was scheduled to be released as the fourth single from the album, which was confirmed by the singer herself; however, a full release did not eventuate. Ben Shephard
Benjamin Peter Sherrington Shephard (born 11 December 1974) is an English television presenter and journalist who is currently the co-presenter of ITV's '' This Morning'' (2024–present), alongside Cat Deeley. Shephard was a main presenter on the now defunct breakfast programme ''GMTV'' and co-hosted the ITV breakfast show '' Good Morning Britain'' alongside Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway from 2014 until 2024. Derek Bruce Hough (; born May 17, 1985) is an American professional Latin dance, Latin and ballroom dancer, choreographer, actor and singer. From 2007 to 2016, Hough was a professional dancer on the American Broadcasting Company, ABC dance competition series ''Dancing with the Stars (American TV series), Dancing with the Stars'', winning the show a record-breaking six times with his celebrity partners. Bruno Tonioli
Bruno Tonioli (; born 25 November 1955) is a British-Italian television personality, choreographer and dancer. Ashley Wallen
Ashley Wallen is an Australian choreographer and has worked with stars such as the Sugababes, Kylie Minogue, Will Young and Mariah Carey. He was the resident dance captain on ''The X Factor'' and appeared as a panelist for Arlene Phillips on BBC One's ''DanceX''. He also choreographed the 2011 UK version of '' Ghost the Musical''.
