Daitsuiseki
was a Japanese comedy-action police TV series. It starred regulars Yūzō Kayama, Masaya Oki, Tatsuya Fuji, Naomi Hase, and Kyohei Shibata, with Fumio Watanabe as a semi-regular. It ran for twenty-six episodes in 1978 and won popularity. It is noted for the ad-libbing and jokes by the cast and staff, which became more frequent as the show wore on. Kyohei Shibata appeared as regular cast for the first time in TV drama series. The final episode was directed by Toru Murakawa who was simultaneously directing the film ''Satsujin Yūgi'' featuring Yūsaku Matsuda and Yutaka Nakajima, and thus pulled them in for cameo roles. Masaya Oki
was a Japanese actor and singer who appeared in many films and television series. Life He was born in Beppu, Ōita, as . Because of his parents' divorce, he left his home and went to Tokyo. In the same year, he debuted as a film actor at the Nikkatsu studio. In 1969, he received the Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year. Oki was playing lead role in Toshiya Fujita's film " Wet Sand in August" but was forced to drop off in a motorcycle accident while shooting. He gradually won popularity through his roles in television dramas such as Hissatsu series and Taiyo ni Hoero!. In 1979, Oki played lead role in Oretachi wa Tenshi da! on NTV and won new popularity. Yūzō Kayama
is a Japanese popular musician, singer-songwriter and actor. Life and career Son of mid-twentieth century film star Ken Uehara,and actress Yoko Kozakura, ( ja) Kayama graduated from Keio University. Yuzo Kayama signed with Toho and made his film debut with ''Otoko tai Otoko'' directed by Senkichi Taniguchi in 1960. He was cast in the leading role in the 1960 film ''Dokuritsu Gurentai Nishie'' directed by Kihachi Okamoto. Kayama rose to stardom in the 1960s in the '' Wakadaishō'' ("Young Guy") film series. Yasuharu Hasebe
was a Japanese film director best known for his movies in the "Violent pink" subgenre of the ''Pink film'', such as '' Assault! Jack the Ripper'' (1976), ''Rape!'' is a Japanese actor. He was born in Beijing and raised in Yokohama. In 1962, Fuji joined Nikkatsu Company and began his acting career with small roles in Nikkatsu film. In 1968, Fuji married actress Izumi Ashikawa. He gained popularity through his role in Jikandesuyo on TBS. He has starred in two films ('' Empire of Passion'' and '' Bright Future'') that have been entered into the Cannes Film Festival. Yuji Ohno
is a Japanese jazz musician. Ohno is known for his musical scoring of Japanese anime television series, particularly ''Lupin III'', and most famously the 1977 series ''Lupin III Part II'' and the feature film ''The Castle of Cagliostro''. Early life Born in the founding family of Atami City's Hotel Ohnoya, Ohno began playing piano in elementary school. Yūsaku Matsuda
was a Japanese actor. In Japan, he was best known for roles in action films and a variety of television series in the 1970s as well as a switch to a wider range of roles in the 1980s. His final film appearance was as the villain Sato in Ridley Scott's '' Black Rain''. He died in 1989 at the age of 40. He is considered one of Japan's most important film actors.
