Kinheim
Kinheim is a baseball and softball club based in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Kinheim's top baseball team plays in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse, the top level of professional baseball in the Netherlands. The club's most successful period was in the 1990s, when it reached the Holland Series in five consecutive seasons from 1992 to 1996. The team lost four of its national championships but became Dutch champions in 1994, beating Neptunus 3–2 in a five-game series. The 2006 Holland Series were held from 21 September to 1 October 2006 between the two Dutch play-off winners Corendon Kinheim and Konica Minolta Pioniers. The first team to win 3 games in the best-of-five-games series would become Dutch champions. DSS/Kinheim
DSS/Kinheim was a baseball team in Haarlem, the Netherlands that competes in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse. The team is a combination of two Haarlem sports clubs, DSS and Kinheim, which merged in 2020 after DSS had defeated Kinheim in a promotion/relegation playoff. DSS, however, faced financial difficulties staying in the top Dutch baseball league. Kinheim had won Dutch and European titles, but the club abruptly withdrew from the Hoofdklasse in 2016 and could not return to the top league via the promotion playoff. The team played at . DSS/Kinheim also fielded a combined second team that competes in the second-highest Dutch baseball league, the Eerste Klaase. DSS is a baseball and softball club based in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Since 2020, DSS has fielded a combined team with fellow Haarlem baseball club Kinheim in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse, the top Dutch baseball league. DSS was unable to participate in the Hoofdklasse due to financial difficulties, and Kinheim lost a relegation playoff to DSS in 2019, 3 games to 2. Holland Series
The Holland Series is the annual championship series of the highest level of professional baseball in the Netherlands. It is the conclusion of the postseason of Honkbal Hoofdklasse, played between the two winners of the league's playoffs. The series was played for two years in the 1970s, then annually beginning in 1987. The Holland Series championship is determined through a best-of-seven playoff, best-of-seven game playoff. Currently, six teams qualify for the playoffs, with the top two teams in the Hoofdklasse regular season earning a bye in the Wildcard round. The Honkbal Hoofdklasse ( Dutch for ''Major League Baseball'') is the highest level of professional baseball in the Netherlands. It is an eight-team league overseen by the Royal Netherlands Baseball and Softball Federation (KNBSB). Games are played principally on weekends with one game during the week. The Baseball European Champions Cup (BECC), formerly called the Champions Cup and European Cup, is an annual baseball tournament, sanctioned and created by WBSC Europe. Pioniers is a baseball and softball team based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. The club is currently sponsored by ''Worldwide Pharma Logistics,'' and the team is officially called Worldwide Pharma Logistics Hoofddorp Pioniers. Under previous sponsorships, the team had been called the Vaessen Pioniers and Konica Minolta Pioniers. The team plays in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse, the top level of professional baseball in the Netherlands.
