Društvo nogometna šola Zavrč or simply DNŠ Zavrč is a Slovenian football club from Zavrč. As of the 2025–26 season, they play in the Slovenian Third League, the third tier of Slovenian football. Zavrč Sports Park is a football stadium in Zavrč, Slovenia. It is used as the home venue of DNŠ Zavrč. The stadium has a seating capacity of 962 spectators. The stadium was renovated in 2003 and expanded between 2013 and 2015, when the ground was completely reconstructed as the old stand was demolished and a new main stand constructed with a seating capacity of 962. Slovenian Third League
The Slovenian Third Football League ( or commonly 3. SNL) is the third tier of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football system. Since 2019, the league consists of two regional groups (East and West). They are operated by the Intercommunal Football Associations. Zavrč
Zavrč (, in older sources ''Zavrče'', ) is a settlement in the Haloze area of Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Zavrč. It lies between the right bank of the Drava River and the border with Croatia. The area traditionally belonged to the region of Styria. It is now included in the Drava Statistical Region. History The Roman road that connected Poetovio and Mursa Maior led through the area. The parish church in Zavrč is dedicated to Saint Nicholas and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1430 as ''Saurig'' or ''Sauritsch''. It was modified in the 17th and 18th centuries. The first school was established in 1671, when pupils were taught in a private house. Nogometni klub Zavrč or simply NK Zavrč was a Slovenian football club from Zavrč. The club was founded in 1969 and ceased operations in 2016 due to financial difficulties. 2022–23 Slovenian Football Cup
The 2022–23 Slovenian Football Cup was the 32nd edition of the football knockout competition in Slovenia. The tournament began in August 2022 and ended on 6 May 2023 with the final. This was the first edition of the cup tournament in a new format, where a total of 120 teams participated in the first round. Koper were the defending champions after winning their fourth cup title the previous season. Olimpija Ljubljana won the cup after defeating their rivals Maribor 2–1 after extra time in the final. The 2023–24 Slovenian Football Cup was the 33rd edition of the football knockout tournament in Slovenia. Rogaška defeated Gorica in the final 6–5 on penalties (1–1 after extra time) to win their first title.
