DIC Entertainment
DIC Entertainment Corporation (; also known as DIC Audiovisuel, DIC Enterprises, DIC Animation City, DIC Entertainment, L.P., and DIC Productions, sometimes stylized as DİC) was a French American film and television production company that was mostly associated as an animation studio. As a former division of The Walt Disney Company, DIC produced live-action feature films and licensed numerous anime series. In 2008, DIC was acquired by Cookie Jar Group in June and was later folded into Cookie Jar in December. As of 2023, most of the DIC library is currently owned by WildBrain (formerly DHX Media) after the company acquired Cookie Jar in October 2012. ''Heathcliff'' ( ''Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats'', known as ''Les Entrechats'' in French) is a children's animated television series that debuted on September 3, 1984. Bruno Bianchi (, ; 6 September 1955 – 2 December 2011) was a French cartoonist, Cartoonist, comics artist and animation director. is an anime series (1981) that updates the Greek mythology of Odysseus (known as "Ulixes" or "Ulysses" in Latin) to the 31st century. The show comprises 26 half-hour episodes as a co-production between DIC Audiovisuel and Tokyo Movie Shinsha. Production In 1980, TAF, TMS Entertainment, and DiC Audiovisuel produced a pilot for the series, simply titled "Ulysses 31".
