DBU Copenhagen () is the local sport governing body, governing body for association football and futsal in Copenhagen, Denmark. They are responsible for the governance and development of men's and women's football at all levels in the region. DBU Copenhagen is a member of the union of local football associations, DBU Bredde, under the Danish Football Association (DBU) and the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark (DIF). The headquarters is located at the Svanemølleanlægget at Østerbro after previously having their residence at the Parken, national football stadium. Clubs situated in the municipalities of Copenhagen Municipality, Copenhagen, Frederiksberg Municipality, Frederiksberg, Gentofte Municipality, Gentofte, Tårnby Municipality, Tårnby and Dragør Municipality, Dragør can be accepted as members of DBU Copenhagen. Boldklubben Skjold af 1915 is a Danish football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen. Founded in 1915, the club has over 1,400 members making it one of Denmark's biggest football clubs in terms of membership. BK Skjold's teams use either Fælledparken or Ryparken for their training sessions. History In the 2011–2012 season Skjold played in the Danish 2nd Division West, the third-tier, due to a random draw after the promotions from the 4th tier league Danmarksserien resulted in an unbalance in teams playing in the East and West 2nd divisions. 18 teams were to play in the Danish 2nd Division East while only 14 teams were to play in the Danish 2nd Division West. Amager Boldspil-Union, shortened to ABU, was a subregional governing body for men's association football on the island of Amager, Denmark. The Amager Football Association governed the league and cup tournaments for the official championship of Amager, known as ABUs Amager-Turnering (or Amagermesterskabsturneringen) and ABUs Pokalturnering (or Amagerpokalturneringen) since its inception in March 1912. In 1916, the association's clubs formed the regional Københavns Forstadsklubbers Boldspil-Union (KFBU). The park Fælledparken in Copenhagen, Denmark, was created 1906–1914 by landscape architect Edvard Glæsel in cooperation with the Copenhagen Municipality on the commons (Danish: ''fælled'') previously named ''Nørrefælled'' and ''Østerfælled''. Fælledparken is located in the eastern part of Copenhagen called Østerbro. Østerbros Boldklub (also known as ØB) was a Danish sports club based in the Østerbro area of Copenhagen, active from 1894 to 1998. The club is best known for its amateur football team. KFUMs Boldklub (also known as KFUM) is a Danish sports club based in Emdrup in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, founded in 1899. The club is best known for its 1940s amateur football team. It played six seasons in the top-flight Danish football championship from 1940 to 1958. KFUM is an independent sports club under the Copenhagen ''KFUM Centralforeningen'' (English: YMCA Central Association). Boldklubben Frem (also known as Frem, BK Frem or BK Frem Copenhagen) is a Danish sports club based in the Valby- Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team and its youth academy. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. Boldklubben af 1893, commonly referred to as B.93, is a football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second level of the Danish football league system, after achieving promotion in the 2022–23 season. The club has won nine league titles and one Danish Cup. B.93 was originally founded as a cricket club on 19 May 1893, and was named Cricketklubben af 1893 at its inception. Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (known simply as KB) was a Danish professional multi-sports club based in Copenhagen. The club was founded on 26 April 1876 on the grassy fields in outer Copenhagen which later became Fælledparken. Tennis has been played since 1883. The club hosted, in 1921, one of the early tennis majors: the World Covered Court Championships, won by William Laurentz that year. Today, along with the sports already mentioned, the club also has facilities for badminton, swimming and pétanque.
