D.C. United Academy
The D.C. United Academy is the youth system#Youth academies, youth and development program for the Major League Soccer club D.C. United. The program consists of teams at four age levels: the D.C. United U-23, under-23 and under-20 teams, as well as the Academy (U-17, U-16, and U-15). The D.C. United Academy has been one of the most successful MLS academies. Many players have been signed directly from the Academy to the professional team, or have later played professionally. Segra Field is a soccer-specific stadium in Leesburg, Virginia, and the home of Loudoun United FC of the USL Championship and previously Old Glory DC of Major League Rugby. The stadium is located within Phillip A. Bolen Park, and adjacent to Loudoun Soccer Park. In addition to the stadium, a training facility, and team offices for D.C. United of Major League Soccer, MLS and youth development academy will be housed there. Youth and amateur soccer Robinson grew up in the Washington metropolitan area, and played for Bethesda SC in Maryland, before signing on with D.C. United's academy.
