Customised software (also known as bespoke software or tailor-made software) is software that is specially software development, developed for some specific organization or other user. As such, it can be contrasted with the use of software packages developed for the mass marketing, mass market, such as commercial off-the-shelf software, or existing free software. Considerations Since custom software is developed for a single customer it can accommodate that customer's particular preferences and expectations, which may not be the case for commercial off-the-shelf software. Software
Software is a set of computer programs and associated documentation and data. This is in contrast to hardware, from which the system is built and which actually performs the work. At the lowest programming level, executable code consists of machine language instructions supported by an individual processor—typically a central processing unit (CPU) or a graphics processing unit (GPU). Machine language consists of groups of binary values signifying processor instructions that change the state of the computer from its preceding state.
