Cosimo Massimo Fusco (born 23 September 1962) is an Italian actor. Biography Born in Matera, Italy, Fusco was educated in Los Angeles, Rome, and Paris. He is best known for his role as Paolo, one of Rachel's boyfriends in the American sitcom ''Friends''. He has had roles in several Italian, German, and American productions, including the films '' Gone in 60 Seconds'', ''Coco Chanel'', ''Angels & Demons'', and '' The Man Who Invented Christmas''. Matera (, ; Materano: ) is a city in the region of Basilicata, in Southern Italy. As the capital of the province of Matera, its original settlement lies in two canyons carved by the Gravina River. This area, the Sassi di Matera, is a complex of cave dwellings carved into the ancient river canyon. Pasquale Pozzessere (born in 1957) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Lizzano, Taranto in the mid-1980s Pozzessere abandoned his medicine university studies to enter the cinema industry working as a script supervisor for Pupi Avati and as assistant director of Francesco Maselli. After directing a number of short films, he made his feature film debut in 1992, with '' Verso Sud'', for which he was nominated to a David di Donatello for Best New Director and won the Grolla d'oro in the same category. The Card Player
''The Card Player'' (Italian: ''Il cartaio'') is a 2004 giallo film directed by Dario Argento. The film stars Stefania Rocca and Liam Cunningham and is Argento's second giallo feature of the decade (following '' Sleepless'').
