Corinne Day
Corinne Day (19 February 1962 – 27 August 2010) was a British fashion photographer, documentary photographer, and fashion model. Life and career Early life Corinne Day grew up in Ickenham with her younger brother and her grandparents. She left school aged sixteen and worked as an assistant in a local bank. After a year at the bank she became an international mail courier. It was during this period that someone suggested she try modelling – she worked consistently as a catalogue model for several years. In 1985 she met Mark Szaszy on a train in Tokyo – Szaszy was a male model and had a keen interest in film and photography. During an extended trip to Hong Kong and Thailand, Szaszy taught Day how to use a camera and in 1987 they moved to Milan. It was in Milan that Day's career as a fashion photographer started. Fashion photography is a genre of photography which is devoted to displaying clothing and other fashion items, sometimes haute couture. It typically consists of a fashion photographer taking a picture of a dressed model (person), model in a photographic studio or an outside setting. It originates from the clothing industry, clothing and fashion industry, fashion industries, and while some of fashion photography has been elevated as art, it is still primarily used for clothing, perfumes and beauty products. A brain tumor occurs when abnormal cells form within the brain. There are two main types of tumors: malignant tumors and benign (non-cancerous) tumors. Mario Sorrenti (born 24 October 1971) is an Italian-American photographer and director best known for his spreads of nude models in the pages of ''Vogue'' and '' Harper's Bazaar''. Early life Sorrenti was born in Naples, Italy, and moved to New York City at the age of ten where he is still based. He is the son of New York-based creative director and fashion photographer Francesca Sorrenti. He is the older brother of fashion photographer Davide Sorrenti, who died from a kidney ailment in February 1997. The National Portrait Gallery (NPG) is an art gallery in London housing a collection of portraits of historically important and famous British people.
