Maurice Conradi
Maurice Alexander Morisovich Conradi (Russian: Морис Морисович Конради; 16 June 1896, in Saint Petersburg − 7 February 1947, in Chur) was a White Army emigre participant of the First World War and the Russian Civil War and the assassin of the Soviet diplomat Vatslav Vorovsky. Early life Conradi was born in Saint Petersburg to a Swiss family from Andeer, owners of a confectionery factory established in 1853 by Conradi's grandfather. Upon the outbreak of World War I he joined the Russian Imperial Army. During the Bolshevik Revolution most of his family was killed and their assets seized: his father was executed in Saint Petersburg on 26 November 1919, his brother Victor taken hostage and executed in 1918, and two further siblings disappeared during the Red Terror. Conradi–Hünermann syndrome is a rare type of chondrodysplasia punctata. It is associated with the EBP gene and affects between one in 100,000 and one in 200,000 babies. August Conradi (27 June 1821 – 26 May 1873) was a German organist and composer. Life Born in Berlin, Conradi was originally intended by his father to study theology. Instead, he was enrolled at the Prussian Academy of Arts in Berlin. There he studied harmony and composition with Carl Friedrich Rungenhagen, director of the Sing-Akademie zu Berlin. In 1843, he became a church organist of Invalidenhaus, Berlin, also writing his first symphony plus a ''Zigeunerpolka'' for orchestra the same year. The latter was arranged for piano by Hungarian pianist and composer Franz Liszt.Searle, 4:663. Edward Conradi
Edward Conradi served as President of Florida State College for Women (now Florida State University) from 1909 to 1941, and as President Emeritus from 1941 until his death in 1944. He was born on 20 February 1869 in New Bremen, Ohio. Conradi received bachelor's and master's degrees from Indiana University Bloomington, and completed a Ph.D. in Psychology from Clark University in 1904. He moved to Florida in 1905, where he was principal of the Normal and Industrial School of St. Petersburg, Florida until he was appointed Dean of the Florida State College for Women, in 1909, by that school's president, Albert A.
