Clarisse Ratsifandrihamanana
Clarisse Andriamampandry Ratsifandrihamanana ( Fénérive-Est, December 5, 1926 – Antananarivo, June 28, 1987) was a Malagasy writer. She married Dr. Henri Ratsifandrihamanana in 1946, and they had eight children, including Lila Ratsifandrihamanana. She gained seven important literature prizes and was a member of Malagasy Academy and an officer of Legion of Honour The National Order of the Legion of Honour (french: Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur), formerly the Royal Order of the Legion of Honour ('), is the highest French order of merit, both military and civil. Fenoarivo Atsinanana (French: Fénérive Est) is a city (commune urbaine) in Madagascar. It is the capital of the Analanjirofo region and of the district of Fenerive-Est.
