Choi Yoo-jung (; born November 12, 1999), known mononymously as Yoojung, is a South Korean singer, dancer, rapper and actress signed under Fantagio. She debuted as member of I.O.I in May 2016 after achieving third place in the 2016 survival program ''Produce 101''. In January 2017, I.O.I officially disbanded after eleven months of promotion. Following disbandment, she returned to her respective agency and eventually debuted with Weki Meki in August 2017. Choi debuted as a solo artist with the single album '' Sunflower'' in September 2022. Early life and education Choi Yoo-jung was born in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on November 12, 1999. Guri
Guri (, lit. Nine Villages Town(Town of Nine Villages) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is located immediately to the east of Seoul, in the heart of the Capital Metropolitan Area. The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty are located in the city. The hill of Achasan is also located here, site of the Baekje-era Achasanseong and numerous hiking trails. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. "Dream Girls" is the official debut single by South Korean girl group project I.O.I for their first EP ''Chrysalis'' (2016). It was released as the title track from the EP by YMC Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment on May 4, 2016 in conjunction with the mini-album. The lyrics were written by Famous Bro and I.O.I's members Lim Nayoung and Choi Yoojung and the music was composed by Famous Bro and Paul. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday.
