UN (band)
UN (also known as United N-generation) was a Korean musical group from South Korea under NH Media (then NH Planning). It consisted of two members: Choi Jung-won and Kim Jeong-hoon. They released 5 albums from 2000 to 2005. "For a Lifetime", a single from their first album, was their first significant hit. Information In 1999, the two members, who are both from the top universities in Korea, formed UN but it wasn't until June 2000 that they released their first album. In September 2005, 5 years after their debut and 5 albums later, their management agency, Laful Entertainment, announced that the duo would disband after the expiration of their contract. My Father
''My Father'' () is a 2007 South Korean film. The film, which is based on a true story, is about an adopted son who is searching for his biological parents in South Korea. During his search he meets his real father, a condemned murderer on death row. Daniel Henney plays the lead role of James, who works as an army captain in the United States Forces Korea. He asks questions of why his father is on death row and finds out things that he always wanted to know. Then he finds more and more truths unravel about his father and his life. The release of the film inspired controversy because the family of the father's victims did not support its production. In its first week on release it topped the South Korean box office sales charts. The adopted son on whom the story is based is Aaron Bates, an insurance broker who lives and works in Arizona with his wife and two sons. Song Il-kook (; born 1 October 1971) is a South Korean actor. He is best known for his role in the 2006 hit drama series ''Jumong'' as the titular character. Early life and education Song is the grandson of politician Kim Du-han, great grandson of Kim Jwa-jin, the famous anarchist and Korean independence movement general during the early 1900s. Kim Jang-hoon (; born 14 August 1963) is a South Korean singer, known for his rock ballads. Early life and education Kim dropped out of school and worked as a DJ at cafes. In 1991, he released his debut album. Cho Dongik mainly wrote and arranged his music. That album included "On a sunny day", written by You Hee-yeol, "Always between you and I", written by Cho Dongik, "To the tomorrow", written by Cho Dongik. His second album including "Now", was released in 1993. His third album was ''I just sang my song''.
