Chilliwack Bruins
The Chilliwack Bruins were a major junior ice hockey team in the Western Hockey League (WHL) based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. The 2006–07 season marked the Bruins' inaugural season in the WHL. The team played at Prospera Centre, which was expanded to 5,386 seats for the arrival of the team. The Bruins were sold after the 2010–11 season and subsequently relocated to Victoria to become the Victoria Royals. History In 2005, the City of Chilliwack was granted a WHL expansion team after an attempt by the owners of the Tri-City Americans ( Brian Burke, Glen Sather and Darryl Porter) to move the Americans to Chilliwack was voted down by the WHL directors. As a result, Burke, Sather and Porter sold their stake in the Americans and purchased the 21st franchise in the WHL. Oscar Möller
Oscar Möller (born 22 January 1989) is a Swedish professional ice hockey right winger who currently plays for Skellefteå AIK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Möller began his junior hockey career in his native Sweden with Spånga IF IK and Djurgårdens IF. He moved to North America for his draft year in 2006–07 to play major junior in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Chilliwack Bruins. Mark Santorelli
Mark Santorelli (born August 6, 1988) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. His older brother Mike used to play for the Anaheim Ducks. They were teammates through the majority of the 2009–10 season with the Predators AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. The Vancouver Giants are a major junior ice hockey team playing in the Western Hockey League (WHL). Memorial Cup
The Memorial Cup () is the national championship of the Canadian Hockey League, a consortium of three major junior ice hockey leagues operating in Canada and parts of the United States. It is a four-team round-robin tournament played between the champions of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and Western Hockey League (WHL), and a fourth, hosting team, which alternates between the three leagues annually. The Memorial Cup trophy was established by Captain James T. Sutherland to honour those who died in service during World War I. Jim Hiller
James Andrew Hiller (born May 13, 1969) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hiller played 63 games in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers, while spending time in the American Hockey League (AHL) and International Hockey League (IHL). Darrell Gerald May (born March 6, 1962) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Early life He was born in Montreal, Quebec. The Kamloops Blazers are a junior ice hockey team in the Western Hockey League (WHL). The team plays in the B.C. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. The Kelowna Rockets are a major junior ice hockey team based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. The Rockets play in the Western Hockey League (WHL), out of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). Willie Mitchell (ice Hockey)
William Mitchell (born April 23, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He is known primarily as a physical defensive defenceman. Mitchell played Junior A in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) and Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) before joining the college ranks with the Clarkson Knights of ECAC Hockey in 1997. He won an ECAC championship with Clarkson in 1999, while also earning playoff MVP and ECAC First Team All-Star honours.
