Chi. Guru Dutt
Chitnahalli Guru Dutt is an Indian actor and director, primarily concentrating on Kannada and Tamil films. He is the son of Chi. Udaya Shankar. Career He debuted along with Shivrajkumar in the Kannada film '' Anand'' (1986). He was launched in Tamil by K. Balachander with ''Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal'' (1989). His major Tamil appearance in the thriller film ''Kalaignan'' (1993) opposite Kamal Haasan as the psychopath doctor. He has acted in more than 100 films. ''Sri Manjunatha'' is a 2001 Indian hagiographical film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Nara Jaya Sridevi. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu, the film stars Chiranjeevi, Arjun Sarja, Ambareesh, Soundarya and Meena. Dwarakish and Mimicry Dayanand play supporting roles in the Kannada version while Tanikella Bharani and Brahmanandam replace them in the Telugu version. The film is based on the life of the Shiva devotee, Bhakta Manjunatha of the Kotilingeshwara Temple. ''Kotigobba'' () is a 2001 Indian Kannada-language action film starring Vishnuvardhan, Priyanka Upendra and Ashish Vidyarthi. The film was a remake of Rajinikanth's 1995 Tamil film ''Baashha''. This movie was directed by Naganna and features soundtrack from Deva who also composed the music for the Tamil version.
