Charles Hulley
Charles Frederick Hulley (Helmsley, 10 March 1892 - Burwood, New South Wales, Burwood, 26 October 1962) was an Australian Anglican priest. Hulley was educated at St John's College, Morpeth, St John's College, Armidale; and ordained deacon in 1919 and priest in 1922. After a Curate, curacy at Quirindi he held Rector (ecclesiastical), incumbencies at Emmaville, New South Wales, Emmaville, Moree, New South Wales, Moree and Haberfield, New South Wales, Haberfield. He was Dean (religion), Dean of Anglican Diocese of Bendigo, Bendigo from 1952 to 1956; and Incumbent (ecclesiastical), Incumbent at Strathfield from 1956 to 1962. His only son, Charles Hulley (1928-2009), was a senior executive with Coca-Cola. Helmsley
Helmsley is a market town and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, the town is located at the point where Ryedale leaves the moorland and joins the flat Vale of Pickering. Helmsley is situated on the River Rye on the A170 road, east of Thirsk, west of Pickering and some due north of York. The southern boundary of the North York Moors National Park passes through Helmsley along the A170 road so that the western part of the town is within the National Park. The settlement grew around its position at a road junction and river crossing point. Helmsley is a compact town, retaining its medieval layout around its market place with more recent development to the north and south of its main thoroughfare, Bondgate.
