Changi City Point
Changi City Point (Chinese: 樟城坊) is a shopping mall located in the vicinity of Changi Business Park, Singapore next to Expo MRT station. It was constructed from June 2010 and completed in November 2011. This mall is renowned for containing factory outlets of various brands such as Adidas, Nike, Lacoste and Pedro. There is also a landscaped themed rooftop garden together with a wet and dry playground on the topmost floor on level 3. Anchor tenants do include Cold Storage, Kopitiam and Challenger. In 2014, Changi City Point is sold by joint owners, Ascendas Frasers and Ascendas Development, to Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT) for $305 million. Expo MRT Station
Expo MRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the East West line (EWL) and Downtown line (DTL) in the Tampines planning area, Singapore. The station lies between Changi City Point and the Singapore Expo, located along Changi South Avenue 1 at the junction of Expo Drive. The station is part of the two-station branch line which extends from Tanah Merah to Changi Airport station. Plans to connect the EWL to Changi Airport were finalised in 1996 and construction began in 1999. The station opened on 10 January 2001, a year earlier than Changi Airport station. It later became the terminus for the DTL upon the completion of Stage 3 of that line in 2017. Cold Storage is a Singaporean multinational supermarket company currently owned by DFI Retail Group. Its parent company also operates Market Place stores, now branded as Cold Storage Fresh, as well as the Giant hypermarket brand, and has various other supermarkets around Asia including Hero and Wellcome. Founded in 1903 as the Singapore Cold Storage Company, Cold Storage was one of the first supermarkets in Singapore to offer its merchandise online in 1997.
