Cecelia Ahern
Cecelia Ahern (born 30 September 1981) is an Irish novelist, known for her works like '' PS, I Love You''; '' Where Rainbows End''; and '' If You Could See Me Now''. Born in Dublin, Ahern is now published in nearly fifty countries, and has sold over 25 million copies of her novels worldwide. Two of her books have been adapted as major motion films. The short story collection '' Roar'' has been adapted as a series for AppleTV+. She and her books have won numerous awards, including the Irish Book Award for Popular Fiction for ''The Year I Met You''. She has published several novels and contributed a number of short stories to various anthologies. Ahern also created and produced the ABC comedy '' Samantha Who?'' starring Christina Applegate. ''Samantha Who?'' is an American television sitcom that originally aired on ABC from October 15, 2007, to July 23, 2009. The series was created by Cecelia Ahern and Donald Todd, who also served as producers. Although highly rated during its first season, the sitcom lost momentum and viewers throughout its second season, and ABC canceled the show in May 2009 before the remaining seven episodes were burned off the 2008–09 TV schedule. Jarlath Regan (born 1980) is a London-based Irish comedian and podcaster. A former graphic design consultant, he began his stand-up comedy career in 2003 and by the end of 2004 was a finalist for three major UK comedy newcomer awards: So You Think You're Funny, BBC New Comedy Awards and the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year. Eamonn Toal represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm with the song "Millennium of Love". Before Eurovision Eurosong 2000 Eurosong 2000 was the national final format developed by RTÉ in order to select Ireland's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2000. The competition was held at the RTÉ Television Centre in Dublin on 20 February 2000 and hosted by Mary Kennedy who previously presented the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018.
