''Dream Team'' is a British sports drama television series produced by Hewland International which aired on Sky One from 1997 to 2007; it chronicled the on-field and off-field affairs of the fictional Premier League football club, Harchester United. Originally broadcast in a soap opera format with two twice-weekly episodes (typically Tuesday and Thursday evenings) broadcast in the half-hour format. This continued for the first three seasons and 200 episodes, from which the show was reformatted into a prime-time one-hour drama weekly on Sunday nights where it remained for its next seven seasons until its final 419th episode. Andrew Owusu Ansah (born 19 March 1969) is an English actor and former professional footballer. Playing career He played for six Football League teams in his career, most notably Southend United, where he played 180 games and scored 38 goals between 1990 and 1996, when they played in the new Division One following two successive promotions at the beginning of the decade. Michael Melia (born 1945) is a British actor best known for his work on television. He appeared as Queen Vic landlord Eddie Royle in BBC One soap opera EastEnders between 1990 and 1991.
