Carlos Ferrero
Carlos Ernesto Fernando Ferrero Costa (born 7 February 1941) is a Peruvian politician who served as congressman as a member of Perú Posible representing Lima from 1995 until 2006 and also served as the President of the Congress from late-2000 until 2003. He was the Prime Minister of Peru from December 2003 until his resignation August 2005. He belongs to the Perú Posible party. Before he became a member of the Perú Posible party, he was part of the Fujimorist Cambio 90 of Alberto Fujimori. His predecessor was Beatriz Merino, who resigned on October 15, 2003 at the request of President Alejandro Toledo. Biography He was born on February 7, 1941. Son of the agronomist Alfredo Ferrero Rebagliati and Adelina Costa Elice, he was born in Lima in 1941, a few days later his family moved to Pisco, Ica. Peru 2000 ( es, Perú 2000, link=Yes) was a Peruvian right-wing political alliance that fielded candidates for the 2000 general elections. General elections were held in Peru in on 9 April 2006 to elect the President, two Vice-Presidents, 120 members of Congress and five members of the Andean Parliament for the 2006–2011 period.
