Cardiff City FC Women is a women's football team based in Cardiff, Wales. It is the official Women's side of Cardiff City F.C. The club won the Women's Welsh Premier League in 2012–13, which qualified them for the 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League. The team started in the qualifying round and lost all of its three matches. History Until the 2011–12 season the team played in the South Wales Women's League Division 1, where also the Southern Premier League teams played too. The team only entered the Premier League when the league was expanded for 2012–13 and went truly national. Cardiff International Sports Stadium
Cardiff International Sports Campus ( cy, Campws Chwaraeon Rhyngwladol Caerdydd), is an athletics stadium and playing fields in the Leckwith area of Cardiff, Wales. The campus opened in 2009 as part of the major Leckwith Development, which included a new football and rugby stadium, Cardiff City Stadium, and a retail park. SFK 2000 Sarajevo ''(BIH)'' is a women's professional football club from the city of Sarajevo that is situated in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club competes in the highest level of women's football in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Premier League. The club was established in June 2000; the name was chosen from a lower-tier men's football club which is now defunct. The 2014–15 FAW Women's Cup is the 23rd season of Wales' national women's association football knock-out competition. 30 teams took part in the competition. Cardiff Met. Ladies F.C. were the defending champions. Format Play is a straight knock-out. First two rounds are drawn on a regional basis. Both finalists from last season receive a bye to the second round. The FA of Wales Women's Challenge Cup, better known as the Welsh Women's Cup is the national women's football cup competition for Wales. It is run by the Football Association of Wales. As Wales had no national league for women until the establishment of the Welsh Premier League in the 2009–10 season the Welsh Cup was the only ticket to the Women's Champions League. Unlike in the men's game, however, English-oriented clubs are allowed to participate. Cardiff City Ladies won eight consecutive cups from 2003 to 2010.
