Cactus High School
Cactus High School is public secondary school located in Glendale, Arizona, United States, part of the Peoria Unified School District. The school opened its doors in August 1977. It is the district's smallest high school, with approximately 1,300 students. In 1978, the first Cactus High School students, 1980 graduates, transferred from Peoria High School's campus during their sophomore year into the current building. Deer Valley High School is a public high school located in Glendale, Arizona, part of the Deer Valley Unified School District. The school opened its doors in 1980 with an initial enrollment of 750 students. Today, the campus is housed on more than with a current enrollment of about 1,900 students. Randy Soderman is a retired American soccer player and technology entrepreneur. The younger brother of Rick Soderman, Randy played for CISCO Soccer Club in Phoenix growing up. In 1992, he graduated from Cactus High School. That year, he joined the Arizona Cotton for the 1992–93 USISL indoor season. Rick Soderman is a retired American soccer forward who played professionally in the Continental Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and World Indoor Soccer League. In 1993, Soderman, older brother of Randy Soderman, signed with the Arizona Sandsharks of the Continental Indoor Soccer League. In the spring of 1995, he played outdoor for the Tucson Amigos of the USISL scoring the game-winning goal in overtime before rejoining the Sandsharks in mid-summer. Vanacour played professionally in the NPSL II, National Professional Soccer League, USISL Select League, Continental Indoor Soccer League and had stints in Germany and Austria. World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) was an American mixed martial arts, mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion founded in 2001.
