World Netball
World Netball, previously known as the International Netball Federation and the International Federation of Netball Associations, is the worldwide governing body for Netball. The INF was created in 1960 and is responsible for world rankings, maintaining the rules for netball and organising the Netball World Cup and Netball at the Commonwealth Games. In June 2021 INF announced an official rebrand and became known as World Netball. General information The organisation is based in Manchester, England. The INF has over 70 List of national netball teams, national members which are grouped into five regional areas: Africa, Asia, Americas, Europe and Oceania. Māori Language
Māori (; endonym: 'the Māori language', commonly shortened to ) is an Eastern Polynesian languages, Eastern Polynesian language and the language of the Māori people, the indigenous population of mainland New Zealand. 1991 Netball World Championships
The 1991 World Netball Championships (also known as the Johnson & Johnson World Netball Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the eighth edition of the INF Netball World Cup, a quadrennial premier event in international netball. It was held in Sydney, Australia from 1 to 13 July 1991 and featured 20 teams. At this edition of the tournament, four teams debuted: Cayman Islands, Namibia, Vanuatu and Western Samoa. The tournament was held at two venues with the Sydney Entertainment Centre hosting the final. The format of the 1991 edition saw a change with the format introducing a knockout phase with the top two teams qualifying to the semi-finals where the winner was decided.
