Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM S.p.A., commonly known as Tecnam, is an Italian aircraft manufacturer. As of 2025, Tecnam has delivered over 7,500 aircraft worldwide and employs more than 500 people across its facilities in Capua and the Naples area. The company operates its main production site adjacent to the Oreste Salomone Airport in Capua. Tecnam ranks among the top manufacturers of piston-powered general aviation aircraft by unit deliveries. According to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association. The company was founded in 1986 by the two Italian brothers Luigi Pascale and Giovanni Pascale, veteran aircraft designers and manufacturers. Tecnam P2012 Traveller
The Tecnam P2012 Traveller is a twin-engine, high-wing utility aircraft designed and manufactured by the Italian company Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam, based in Capua, Italy, near Naples. Certified under EASA CS-23 and FAA FAR Part 23, the aircraft is configured to carry up to nine passengers and one or two pilots, and is designed for commuter, charter, air taxi, cargo, medevac, and surveillance operations. In 2009, the U.S. regional airline Cape Air, based in Massachusetts, approached Tecnam with a request for a modern replacement for its aging fleet of Cessna 402s. Tecnam P2010
The Tecnam 2010 is a four-seat, high wing, single engine light aircraft of mixed metal and carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer construction. Built and designed by Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam, based in Capua, Italy, near Naples. The P2010 was first unveiled at the AERO Friedrichshafen show in April 2011 and made its maiden flight in 2012. It received type certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) under CS-23 in September 2014, and FAA validation under FAR Part 23 followed in 2015. Tecnam P2006T
The Tecnam P2006T is an Italian high-winged twin-engined all-metal light aircraft, built by Tecnam, Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam based in Capua, Italy, near Naples. The P2006T received airworthiness certification in the European Union by EASA under CS23 in 2003, type certification in 2009, and Federal Aviation Administration FAR Part 23 certification in 2010. On February 2025, Tecnam introduced the P2006T NG (Next generation) and the P2006T NG Sport. The Tecnam P2002 Sierra is a two-seat, low-wing, light aircraft designed and constructed by the Italian aircraft manufacturer Tecnam.
