Starz Entertainment Corp, formerly known officially as Lions Gate Entertainment Corporation and commonly as Lions Gate and/or Lionsgate, is a Canadian-American entertainment company currently headquartered in Santa Monica, California. Lionsgate Television is the television division of the American production company Lionsgate Studios. History The company was established in July 1997 as Lions Gate Television, Inc. with the establishment of Lionsgate Films. Lionsgate Academy (District 4183) is a Minnesota public charter school which serves grades from 7 up to 12. Established in 2008, Lionsgate Academy is open to students of all abilities: however, their program is inclusively designed to meet the unique needs of students on the autism spectrum. The school has multiple locations. History Lionsgate was founded by Bernadette Groh and Tamara Phillips, with the aim to educate students with autism. Lionsgate Newark Studios is a 350,000 square foot film and television production studio under construction in Newark, New Jersey. It is located in Dayton in the South Ward on of land overlooking Weequahic Golf Course west of Newark Liberty International Airport. Lionsgate is to be the key tenant with naming rights, and the project is being built by Great Point Studios. The studio is billed as the first purpose-built studio in New Jersey to be constructed for TV and film production using tax credits. Airborn (novel)
''Airborn'' is a 2004 young adult novel by Kenneth Oppel. The novel is set in an alternate history where the airplane has not been invented, and instead, airships are the primary form of air transportation. Lions Gate Chorus
Lions Gate Chorus is an a cappella choir of Sweet Adelines International, based in the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area of British Columbia, Canada. The chorus competes in Sweet Adelines International Region 26, and are the 2024 International Champions of Sweet Adelines International. Founded in 1954, the group's name "Lions Gate" refers to the Lions, a pair of mountain peaks visible to the North of Vancouver. The famous Lions' Gate Bridge crosses the first narrows of Burrard Inlet towards the Lions. Under the direction of Sandy Robinson Marron, Lions Gate Chorus has achieved many regional gold medals.
