Kisvárda FC
Kisvárda Football Club is a Hungarian football club located in Kisvárda. It currently plays in Nemzeti Bajnokság II. The team's colors are red and white. History Kisvárda FC, later known as Várda SE, was founded in 1911 as ''Kisvárdai Sport Egyesület (KSE)''. The officials of the village supported the new club by donating a pitch next to the market place. The financial support came from the merchants of the village, who helped a lot in the early stages of the club. In 1953, their present-day ground, the Várkerti sporttelep was built. The club was reestablished on 26 October 1971. Since the 2013–14 season, the official name of the club is ''Kisvárda-Master Good FC''. In the 2017-18 Nemzeti Bajnokság II, Kisvárda finished second and were promoted to the 2018-19 Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Várkert Stadium is a football stadium in Kisvárda, Hungary. The UEFA stadium categories, UEFA category 3 arena is home to the association football side Kisvárda FC. The stadium has a capacity of 2,850. History The stadium was planned to be built for HUF 120 million in 2014, however step by step it managed to cost taxpayers a lot more. After categorised as an economically significant investment, another HUF 800 million was awarded in 2014, which grew to 1.5 billion and then 2 billion in a short time. In the end a further 473 million HUF was spent on building a heat pipe system from the nearby thermal water complex - making the total investment HUF 2.5 billion - basically 1 million for each spectator seat. Vasile Miriuță
Vasile Miriuță (born 19 September 1968) is a professional football manager and former player, currently in charge of Liga I club Politehnica Iaşi. Born in Romania, the midfielder played nine matches for the Hungary national team, in which he scored one goal in a friendly on 21 August 2002 against Spain. Famous for his free kicks and tactical cleverness, he promoted in the Bundesliga with Energie Cottbus in 2000, but was released at the end of 2002. Most of his time at MSV Duisburg he spent outside the starting eleven. Club career Miriuță debuted as a player in 1986 for Maramureș Baia Mare. In 1991, he was signed by Dinamo București. At Dinamo, Miriuță became an undisputed regular, until new coach Florin Halagian allegedly told him that he's not going to play a single game in his term, prompting him to leave for Gloria Bistrița in 1991. FC Kairat
Football Club Kairat () is a professional football club based in Almaty, which plays in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Kazakh football. Founded in 1954 as Lokomotiv Alma-Ata, they became Urozhay in 1955 and Kairat in 1956. The club's home ground is the Central Stadium which has a capacity of 23,804 seats. The club's home kit colours are yellow and black striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. Kairat was the leading Kazakh club during the Soviet period and the only representative of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Top League. The 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League was the second season of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Europe's tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. The final was played at Fortuna Arena in Prague, Czech Republic. It was won by West Ham United, who defeated Fiorentina 2–1, and qualified for the 2023–24 UEFA Europa League group stage as a result. László Török (footballer, Born 1969)
László Török (13 May 1941 – 17 September 2020) was a Hungarian historian, archaeologist, and Egyptologist. His works on the ancient Coptic language, Ancient Egypt, ancient Nubia, and the Kingdom of Kush were highly regarded. He was a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Biography Török studied architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, graduating in 1964. In 1968, he earned a doctoral degree in architectural history. From 1971 to 1972, he studied coptology at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. From 1981 to 1984, Török headed the department of Roman archaeology at the Archaeological Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He also served as an honorary professor of Egyptology, starting in 1991. He became a full-fledged professor in 1992. Török was best known for his publications on ancient Nubia. Újpest Football Club () is a Hungary, Hungarian professional association football, football club based in Újpest, Budapest, that competes in Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Formed in 1885, Újpest reached the first division of the Hungarian League in Nemzeti Bajnokság I 1905, 1905 and has been relegated only once since then. Fehérvár Football Club (commonly known as ''Fehérvár'', ''Vidi'', or ''MOL Fehérvár Football Club'' for sponsorship reasons), is a Hungarian professional football club based in Székesfehérvár, which plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság II from 2025–26, the second level of the Hungarian league system after relegation from Nemzeti Bajnokság I in 2024–25.
