ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 figure skating season, 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four (Single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. The ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating is a separate competition series in the discipline of synchronized skating. History The ISU Council decided to create the series at its February 2014 meeting. Eleven competitions were selected in June 2014. The Triglav Trophy dropped out by October 10, 2014, resulting in a series composed of ten events. The Nebelhorn Trophy, Finlandia Trophy, Ondrej Nepela Memorial, and Golden Spin of Zagreb are the "core group". The event criteria were published in April 2014 ...

Figure Skating Competition
A figure skating competition is a judged sports competition in figure skating. Types of figure skating competitions International International competitions sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) are governed by the union's rules. 2014–15 ISU Challenger Series
The 2014–15 ISU Challenger Series was held from September to December 2014. It was the inaugural season of the ISU Challenger Series: a group of senior-level international figure skating competitions. Competitions This season, the series included the following events. The Budapest Trophy is an annual senior-level international figure skating competition held in Budapest, Hungary. In most years, the event is part of the ISU Challenger Series. Autumn Classic International
The Autumn Classic International is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), organized and hosted by Skate Canada. The competition debuted in 2014 in Barrie, Ontario, as one of the inaugural competitions of the ISU Challenger Series. The Autumn Classic International has been a Challenger Series event six times during its history. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance; and when the event is part of the Challenger Series, skaters earn ISU World Standing points based on their results. The Autumn Classic International was last held in 2023 in Montreal. Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan holds the record for the most wins at the Autumn Classic International in men's singles (with four). 2020–21 ISU Challenger Series
The 2020–21 ISU Challenger Series was scheduled to be held from September 9 to December 5, 2020. It was the seventh season that the ISU Challenger Series, a group of senior-level international figure skating competitions, was held. Originally meant to be a series of ten events, the 2020–21 Challenger Series ended up featuring only two individual events, when eight events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2019–20 ISU Challenger Series
The 2019–20 ISU Challenger Series was held from September to December 2019. It was the sixth season that the ISU Challenger Series, a group of senior-level international figure skating competitions, was held. Competitions This season, the series included the following events. On July 22, 2019, the International Skating Union revoked the Chinese Taipei Skating Union's right to host the Asian Open Figure Skating Classic, scheduled to be held in Taipei, Taiwan. The event was replaced with the Hong Kong Skating Union's Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy. The Sports Administration of the Republic of China ordered the removal of Chinese Taipei Skating Union Secretary-General Eddy Wu for mishandling this situation. The Sports Administration also suspended funding of the Chinese Taipei Skating Union for one year.
