Nation
A nation is a type of social organization where a collective Identity (social science), identity, a national identity, has emerged from a combination of shared features across a given population, such as language, history, ethnicity, culture, territory, or society. Chad Folk
Chad Folk (born October 28, 1972) is a former professional Canadian Football League centre for the Toronto Argonauts. He was the first overall pick in the 1997 CFL Draft. Junior college years Folk attended Butte College in Oroville, California, and was a two-time team captain and a two-time All-American. College career Folk attended the University of Utah and was an elementary education major and a football star. In football, he was a two-time Academic All-American selection and as a senior, he was also named the Team MVP. Parents
A parent is either the progenitor of a child or, in humans, it can refer to a caregiver or legal guardian, generally called an adoptive parent or step-parent. Parents who are progenitors are first-degree relatives and have 50% genetic meet. A female can also become a parent through surrogacy. Folk Nation
The Folk Nation is an alliance of street gangs originating in Chicago, established in 1978. The alliance has since spread throughout the United States, particularly the Midwestern United States. Formation The Folk Nation was formed on November 11, 1978, within the confines of the Stateville Correctional Center. Larry Hoover, the chairman of the Gangster Disciple Nation, created the idea for the alliance and persuaded many leaders of large black, white, and Latino gangs from Chicago to join. Folk Nation was created to protect and counter from People Nation invading neighborhoods. Symbols All gangs that are members of the Folk Nation represent their allegiance by utilization of the Star of David, the digit 6, the Roman numeral VI, and a die with six dots visible. The Folk classification, in geology, is a technical descriptive classification of sedimentary rocks devised by Robert L. Folk, an influential sedimentary petrologist and Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas. Richard Dale “Rick” Folk (born March 5, 1950, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian curler and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, where he represented the Progressive Conservative Party for one term from 1982 until 1986. He is a two-time world curling champion, representing Canada. When curling in Canada, Folk represented both Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Nicholas Alexander Folk (born November 5, 1984) is an American professional American football, football placekicker. He played college football for the Arizona Wildcats football, Arizona Wildcats, where he received first-team 2006 All-Pacific-10 Conference football team, All-Pacific-10 honors, and was selected by the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL draft. Folk was named to the 2008 Pro Bowl, Pro Bowl as a rookie and played for the Cowboys through the 2009 season. Kevin Folk
Kevin Folk (born July 26, 1980 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian curler originally from Kelowna, British Columbia. He previously played third for Jim Cotter. Career Folk won the 2000 Canadian Junior Curling Championships playing third for Brad Kuhn. The team then went on to win the 2000 World Junior Curling Championships. After juniors, Folk joined with his father, two-time Brier and World Champion, Rick Folk's team. He left the team in 2005 to join up with Bob Ursel. Folk qualified for his first Brier in 2008 with Ursel, and the team finished in fourth place, losing the 3–4 game to Glenn Howard of Ontario. Cotter took over the reins as skip of the rink in 2011.
