''Terminator'' is an American media franchise created by James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd. It is considered to be of the cyberpunk subgenre of science fiction. The franchise primarily focuses on a post-AI takeover, apocalyptic war between a synthetic intelligence known as Skynet (Terminator), Skynet, and a surviving resistance of humans led by John Connor. Skynet uses an arsenal of cyborgs known as Terminator (character concept), Terminators, designed to mimic humans and infiltrate the resistance. ''The Boys'' is an adult superhero comic book series, co-created, and written by Garth Ennis and co-created, designed, and illustrated by Darick Robertson. ''Project Superpowers'' is a comic book limited series published by Dynamite Entertainment beginning January 2008. It was co-plotted by Jim Krueger and Alex Ross, with scripts by Jim Krueger, covers by Alex Ross, and interior art by Doug Klauba and Stephen Sadowski for issue #0, and Carlos Paul for the remainder of the series. Ross is also art director, which includes sketched pages, color guides, and redesigns of most of the characters. Red Sonja is a sword-and-sorcery character created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Barry Windsor-Smith for Marvel Comics in 1973, partially inspired by Robert E. Howard's character Red Sonya of Rogatino.
