Cătălin Lichioiu
Cătălin Sergiu Lichioiu (born 20 January 1981) is a Romanian former footballer. He had notable stints in the Moldovan National Division, Ukrainian Premier League, and the Canadian Soccer League. Playing career Lichioiu began his career in 2001 with his hometown club Tractorul Brașov in the Divizia C. In 2003, he was transferred to FC Nistru Otaci of the Moldovan National Division. During his tenure with Nistru he won the Moldovan Cup, and finished as top league goal scorer in the 2004-2005 season. He featured in the 2005–06 UEFA Cup against Grazer AK. In 2006, he signed with Vorskla Poltava of the Ukrainian Premier League, where he appeared in 38 matches and recorded four goals. In 2008, & 2011 he had stints with FC Vostok, and FC Zaria Bălți. 2005–06 UEFA Cup
The 2005–06 UEFA Cup, the 35th edition of the UEFA Cup, was won by Sevilla, beating Middlesbrough in the final. It was the first victory for Sevilla in a European competition, and the first appearance by Middlesbrough in a European final. The final took place at Philips Stadion, in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The match was refereed by Herbert Fandel. Middlesbrough sealed their place in the final on the back of two dramatic comebacks. In the quarter-finals they beat FC Basel of Switzerland 4–3 on aggregate (after losing the first leg 2–0 and being 1–0 down in the second leg, they scored 4 goals), this put them into the semi-final to face Steaua București. SC Waterloo Region
SC Waterloo Region was a Canadian soccer team based in Waterloo, Ontario. The club competed in various divisions in the Canadian Soccer League. The club was formed in 2011 under KW United FC and initially competed in the league's second division. The following year, the organization's name was changed to SC Waterloo Region, and it was promoted to the league's first division. While the first team played in the first division, Waterloo would at times operate a reserve squad in the second division. Within a short time, Waterloo enjoyed a string of successes within the league. Their biggest achievement came in the 2013 season after winning the CSL Championship. London City Soccer Club is a Canadian soccer team founded in 1973. The team is currently a member of the Canadian Academy of Soccer League. The team plays their home games at the Milton Community Sports Park in the town of Milton, Ontario. The team's colours are red, black and white. Formed on Valentine's Day of 1973 by Markus Gauss in order to field a London entry for the National Soccer League after the departure of German Canadian FC. The Gauss family ran and provided the city of London a professional team for 38 years.
