Călin Petrișor
Călin Alin Petrișor (born 24 June 1998) is a Romanian professional kickboxer and kempo practitioner. He currently competes in the Lightweight division for Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS). A professional kickboxing competitor since 2015, Petrișor has also competed for Superkombat Fighting Championship, Colosseum Tournament, FEA and OSS Fighters. Personal life Petrișor is a Sergeant. He graduated from the Military School of Foremen and Non-Commissioned Officers of the Romanian Land Forces in Pitești. In 2021 Petrișor was awarded the Plaque of Honour by the Association of Military Veterans and Disabled Veterans (AMVVD). His coach Daniel Mocanu is a traffic policeman. Găești () is a town in Dâmbovița County, Muntenia, Romania with a population of 12,583 as of 2021. History The name of the town comes from a family of nobles (boyars) who owned most of the lands on which the town is now situated. Their name was Găești. It was first mentioned on 19 July 1498 during the rule of Radu cel Mare, the son of Vlad Călugărul, who donated the land around Găești to the Monastery of Râncăciov. In 1807, most of the buildings of Găești were destroyed by a fire, then in 1812, it was hit by the plague. Demographics At the 2021 census, Găești had a population of 12 583. At the census conducted in 2011, the town had 13,317 inhabitants, the majority of whom were Romanians (93.41%), with a minority of Roma (1.71%); for 4.68% of the population, the ethnicity was unknown. The ISKA (originally International Sport Karate Association, later also called the International Sport Kickboxing Association) is international bodies regulating sport karate and kickboxing matches. It is based in the United States. It was established in 1985 as a response to legal and revenue issues that sent the Professional Karate Association (PKA) into decline.
